Brian Barrett, Senior Vice President of Sales, Alcohol and Beverage and Chris Williams, Senior Vice President of Insights and Retail Strategy have joined SwiftIQ. The hiring of Brian and Chris strengthens SwiftIQ’s capabilities to become the leading on-demand insights and decisioning platform powered by the most highly granular, real-time store, customer, and supply chain data.
Brian Barrett is a serial entrepreneur with over 19 years in beverage and data systems. He was the Founder of GuestMetrics, which built the largest aggregated syndicated data solution for on-premise retailers connected them to alcohol, beverage, and food brands. Prior to joining SwiftIQ, he consulted for Fintech, a leader in alcohol payments technology that managed invoicing and shipment data for hundreds of thousands of retail locations. Brian will be responsible for expanding SwiftIQ’s customer base and product capabilities servicing beer, wine, spirits and beverage customers and their wholesaler partners. Today, SwiftIQ works with large category leaders like Anheuser-Busch and Coca-Cola as well as emerging beverage brands, such as Argo Tea.
Chris Williams will be responsible for maximizing SwiftIQ’s value to retailers by guiding strategy for Product, Client Success, and Business Intelligence Services. With over 16 years of merchandising and analytics experience in large retail, Chris was most recently the Vice President of Merchandising at Sunoco where he was responsible for category management, space planning, loyalty, and analytics. Prior to Sunoco, he was the Director of Merchandising at Fresh & Easy, a regional small format grocery chain that was sold by Tesco PLC to Yucaipa Companies, a private equity investor. Prior to that, Chris was a Buyer at Target Corporation where he managed center store grocery categories and developed seasonal private label programs. Chris holds a Bachelor of Science from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
